Post Body

Years ago I watched gameplay of a game that was getting a fan translation.

Platform: It was an older game with early pixel graphics, I'm quite sure it was NES.

Genre: JRPG

Notable Characters: The party was made up of monsters. I can recall the gameplay I watched was early on in the game and it was something like a gargoyle and a skeleton?

There are no human characters as far as I know.

Gameplay: Turn based combat, akin to early Dragon Quest. Your characters are not visible on screen during combat.

Outside of combat was an overworld map with top-down perspective, random encounters, again much like Dragon Quest.

Other details: I remember the area the player was moving around in was a large desert area, very SMT 3 vibe.

I've searched everywhere I can think of, but I just cannot get the results I'm looking for.
