Hey Lego and Video Game enthusiasts!
I had posted this on another community but no luck. So here we go. I've been binging on playing many of the good ol' aged mobile lego games like the original Lego Star Wars, Lego City, etc. However I just had a reocurring memory of this one lego game I used to play when I was younger that seems like lost media because I cant find it anywhere! Let's see if anybody can find this game.
This is what I remember:
[Platform]: It was most likely an IOS game. That is unsure though, yes it was that long ago that I can't even properly determine its platform lol. It was for sure a mobile game though.
[Genre]: I'm not sure what specifically this refers to but it was a city tycoon in a 3D worlspace. It was a kids game, couldn't be any more simpler.
[Estimated Year of Release]: 2013-2017-ish
[Graphics/art style]: 3D worldspace made out of purely Legos.
[Other details]:
(In a world of lego) It was a 3rd person video game that basically starts you off with an empty plane of grass. You could move your character around freely with the basic touch controls on your device. The game would basically let you create your own city with whichever buildings you wanted in whatever place. You only played as one avatar for game. I remember there were a couple options for buildings, like (I think) 3 different types of houses. And there was also ~3 different types of work buildings. One that I remember was a bycicle shop. You basically had all these buildings to choose from and to make road with and a city. You could've placed them anywhere, facing any direction, next to whatever building you wanted. If you wanted more, I remember you could make a transaction to purchase more buildings. Also, the more buildings you had spawned, the more civilians would spawn as well.
There was many activities you can do. But your main goal was keeping the citizens of your city content. I remember there were different types of civilians. There was no dialogue whatsoever by the way. There were Normal people, bycicle kids, skateboard kids. And you were able to ride bycicles and the skateboard as well. AND even do tricks with the skateboard by tapping on it whilst riding it. I remember here and there there would be buildings that caught on fire, so you had to rush over there in whatever you had (I don't exactly remember there being cars). And you had to put out the fire. I'm not sure if that means one of the ~3 chooseable work buildings was a firestation.Around the city people also had accidents. As in they would fall off their bike or skateboard and get injured. As this happened you had to rush over to their little signal on the map and heal them. This could also imply that one of the chooseable work buildings was a medical station, not sure.
Some other details I remember is that there was icecream that the player and people could get from somewhere, im not sure if it was from a building or icecream man, and that you could enter certain buildings. You couldnt enter houses though.
The closest game I could find to this aged piece is this game "Lego City My City (2014)" (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Lego_video_games), which isn't even that close to be honest but had that similar city and free roam aspect.
It also does not show up in the official list of published lego video games on wiki (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Lego_video_games), which is odd. Maybe this means it was never even published by lego and that's why it was taken down?
Any help is appreciated! Ask any question and i'll supply an answer! This game entertained me for hours.
