Tinnitus and blocked eustachian tubes
Post Body

Dear all, I’ve been a member of this group for a while and thought I’d ask if anyone has any similar experiences to me. My tinnitus flairs up every now and again and can get quite severe, but usually calms down within a couple of hours.

I feel it is to do with my Eustachian tubes which feel blocked and frequently cause my ears to pop. I have a perforated eardrum in my left ear (which I’m wait for a myringoplasty - 3rd time lucky maybe) which causes my ring ear to pop. I have had limited success with nosesprays to help. Has anyone had a similar origin of tinnitus and can maybe share any advice. I’ve been a frequent visitor to ear doctors since my teens and they can not seem to offer anything that helps as my tinnitus does go away.
