I've been hearing a constant sound of what seems to be a 13khz-15khz sound. It's a single sound and constant. I listened to a range of frequencies and found the one that sounds most like what I'm hearing. It's both ears all the time. Went to the ENT had hearing checked, etc. didn't find any issues. No recent medical changes. Checked with my psychiatrist and none of my meds causing ringing in ears. It doesn't seem to be impacting my hearing, it's just super distracting. Nothing I do will drown it out. Almost as if it's coming inside my head. Ear plugs, loud music, white noise all no impact to drown it out. Always there. Going to the dentist to see if it's possibly TMJ or something like that. What sucks is that the ENT was very dismissive and no one seems to think it's that big of a deal.
Update: Went to the Dentist. Ruled out TMJ. Dentist suggested I go see a Neurologist.
