Does your tinnitus stop occasionally?

Post Body

I had really weird experience. My tinnitus started around 1 year ago (it could have been earlier, but this was the time I was home alone long enough to notice it). Couple weeks ago I got up during the night to go to toalet and then I noticed that my ear ringing is gone. At first I thought I was just sleepy and not focused enough, but no. I've stayed up for 10 minutes in completely silence. I've even tried to focus on my hearing, but there was no sound. In the morning it was all back. Is this normal? Did anyone have similar experiences?

Comments

I can get to a point I can't hear it temporarily, but if cover my ears it's still there, I would happily live in this condition, after being used to it for 6 years I can deal with it being barely noticeable.
