Posting here because I got banned from the tinder subreddit for having so many upvotes on my first ever post that I pissed off the mods. I’ve always had fairly good luck on tinder everywhere I’ve went. I’m a 6’3, 180lbs, lanky country boy with brown hair and blue eyes. Don’t have trouble scoring an occasional hookup or date here and there when I really try hard enough. But lately I feel just zero effort to try despite having plenty of girls who have liked me (I pay for tinder gold so I can make sure to only talk to a girl immediately after matching with her).
I just have zero drive to be around girls on the app anymore, point blank, period. All of my experiences have either been immediate hookups, situationships, girls who wanted free food or to go on dates without ever opening up, or girls who want to add you on snap and talk your ears off about their problems for two days before starting a streak and never meeting. I won’t lie, more than half have been positive. But it just seems like the amount of time scrolling, trying to set up dates, etc from 18-24 has gotten so old. Ever since I’ve left college and moved back to my small town and gotten a job, every woman is 60-70 miles away on the app, and the few that I do meet when I go places for work in my capital city every other month or for festivals just want quick fun at a bar after a concert, then back to their apt/hotel, wash, rinse, and repeat.
It’s tiring. I want a partner, not this. Does anyone have any advice or recommendations?
