First Solo Trip to Tijuana

Hola!
So I'm making my way to Tijuana next weekend. My main reason is to get my wisdom teeth removed (booo). I'm planning to arrive the night before to at least enjoy some food and beverage before I'm in pain.
Any recommended places to eat and mingle with people on Friday night? I'm bilingual I just don't write because my writing is bad.
