Obligatory didn’t happen today, but 2 weeks ago.

I’ll start with how I got in the wheelchair to start. About 4 or so weeks ago I had been doing a lot of training and work. Training for a sports event and working on my parents farm. As such I had been working my body a lot harder than usual.

I had pain in my legs, assumed it was the normal pain you get from working out and ignored it, went back to work.

Note it was very hot and I didn’t have a lot of access to water while herding sheep and cattle. So I was dehydrating rather fast.

After a couple of days of this the pain in my legs continued to grow, until, eventually I couldn’t walk. I called my mother and she took me to the hospital.

Turns out I had been working too hard, and had developed Rhabdomyolysis (basically your muscle tissue breaks down and released a protein that damages your kidneys) in my calf’s.

That was the first fuck up.

I was put into a wheelchair after some treatment and had to use it. So I’m back at uni. In a wheelchair. A couple of friends see me and we had a great idea. Let’s take my wheelchair to the top of this hill and push people down on it.

I got down onto the grass to watch and my friends started taking turns. Only 1 wipeout in 30 minutes. I’m keen. My friend helps me to the chair and I sit down and start rolling.

Funny thing is it is a lot harder to balance when you can barely move your legs.

I fell out and ended out breaking my right arm. 2 fingers. And my nose. So Now I am a lot more disabled then before.

TLDR; Overworked myself into a condition that put me in a wheelchair. Rode wheelchair down hill, broke bones. Still in pain.
