I bought a new tv and of course I was excited to get it home. I thought it would fit in my car. I should have known better. After figuring out it would not fit in my car I was left with a couple options. I could come back with a bigger car the next day and safely transport it home. Now this would have been the smart thing to do but I was excited to get the new beautiful 65” home and watch it in all it’s glory. I was being impatient and felt like I had to figure out a way to get it home so I could enjoy it. Tried a different way to fit it into the car. Nope wouldn’t go. The only way it would fit would be to take it out of the box. I live one mile away from the store. What could possibly happen? I wouldn’t be typing this to TIFU if everything turned out ok. I took it out of the box. Got it into the back of my car. Threw the manuals and remote into the passenger seat and drove home. Feeling pretty good about getting it home and set it up and turned it on. No problems until I got to a screen that had full color and then noticed a small black circle at the bottom. A small crack was there. I no longer have the box and I have no idea how I’m going to return the tv back to the store for an exchange.

TLDR: Bought a new tv took it out of the box to get it home. It got damaged and I don’t have the box to return it.
