this just happened an hour ago

so on fridays my daughter and i make pizzas together. i'm sure y'all can relate in being too eager to eat fresh pizza before it sufficiently cools off and as one does i swooped in far too soon and payed for my mistake by burning my mouth. nbd, it's happened before.

except over the course of the next ten minutes, a blister starts forming in the roof of my mouth. this has never happened and i keep probing it with my tongue at first to confirm it is in fact a blister and then continuously just to guage the size and trend in growth

and since i'm a dumb idiot i kept doing it until finally after it reached the size of about a pea, it burst in my mouth like a gusher but instead of chemically sweet syrup it was greasy pus and i almost threw up

tl;dr: burned my the roof of my mouth on too-hot pizza and burst the resulting blister in my mouth
