The laptop arrived two weeks ago. The purchase was 3 weeks prior to that - online.
I meant to get a touch-screen laptop. When I was comparing the versions on the site, I only noticed that the white version was about 100 dollars more expensive than the silver version. I thought "How dumb."
Today I furiously and rigorously used my fingers on the screen for the first time. Nothing happened. Tried everything Google told me. Couldn't find the bits on the Device Manager that people mentioned. Should've been suspicious there. Chatted with Customer Service for ten minutes. He confirmed my Service Tag 3 times, then walked me through my invoice, yep, and showed that I had chosen the non-touch screen version.
I wasted close to two thousand dollars on this beautiful piece of mistake. I think I made the CS guy's day, though, as the dumbest customer ever.
TL;DR Bought a laptop with the wrong specs, only realizing it five weeks after clicking 'Purchase'.
