So; I'm trying to recover from an eating disorder at the moment; and as part of that process; I've been told I have to get medical monitoring once a month; and blood tests every 6 weeks ;-; Today was my first blood test since getting back from uni due to the pandemic! Since I have to hide my disorder from mum; I had to sneak out and seem inconspicuous; meaning I had no way of bringing a teddy bear for my usual comfort!

I got to the gp; was taken to the treatment room; and they began to take blood from my right arm while I freaked the fuck out (Note: I'm fucking terrified of needles and blood .-.); and in the process; managed to wriggle the needle out of my arm before the nurse was done ;-;

And because of that, she had to get the rest of the sample from my left arm. First time getting stabbed twice in one appointment T-T Another nurse had to let me squeeze her hand and breathe with me. A fucking 19 year old woman. Who was squealing and wriggling in the chair.

After that nightmare was over with; I apparently looked like I was going to pass out or some shit; cuz the nurse then proceeded to prick my finger for a blood sugar test T-T I've never had that done before ;-;

All in all. 10/10 would not recommend ;-;

Sorry I'm shit at telling stories 😅

TL;DR I'm a massive wimp that can't stay still and got needle stabbed 3 times as a result .-.

Update!!! I got a call this morning and I've been asked to go back and get the blood tests done again for some reason! Fuck my fucking life!
