TIFU by playing Cards Against Humanity
Post Body

So last night my parents had a married couple they know come over for dinner and a game or two.

Dinner went great and we were all having a good time when they suggested we start playing some games. The couple says that they brought some couples game and Cards Against Humanity. We decide on Cards Against Humanity and start playing after we read the instructions.

Needless to say, it was kind of awkward explaining bukkake to an adult female in front of my parents and her husband, but this was not my fuck-up. My fuck-up was much worse.

When it came time for me to read the cards, I got the card about what World War IV will be fought with. Among the answers was Auschwitz. I don't know why I did it, but I did. I, a Jew, chose Auschwitz as the winner. I mean, this is Cards Against Humanity, right? Just when I started regretting my decision, my mother gives me the look. I say, "What? It was funny!" Then she tells me that the wife's parents survived a concentration camp.

So there I am, thinking about how much I fucked up, when the winning answer for the next round is, I shit you not, I can't sleep because of "poorly-timed Holocaust jokes."

Of course everyone starts laughing, but I just feel bad for that woman.

EDIT: For those asking, my dad played the Auschwitz card and the husband played the poorly timed holocaust jokes card.
