I made a PayPal account when I was 16 and my dad put his card on it so we could order off of eBay. I havenāt changed his name for years despite me taking his card off and putting mine on.
I started doing business with people and needed an account using my actual name. I didnāt want to wait for PayPal to verify my identity to swap names on the account so I made a new one with the same cell number for the ID.
Apparently this violated their ToS. When I went to transfer money from my main account I was greeted by a āyour account has been permanently limitedā. A quick google search told me that the limited thing was a permanent ban without appeal.
tl;dr tried to make a PayPal with my name while having an existing one under my dads name using the same phone number which violated their ToS. Now Iām permabanned from PayPal
