At some stage recently I saw a reel on Instagram, it was very similar to those dodgy “5minute craft” videos that never work. That should really have been a giveaway

Anyway; they wrapped tape around their arm hair in strips. Then bleached/dyed over the top of it.

End result is stripes that look alright. I’m bored. And have access to hair bleach. I change my hair colour every other month. So why not? 🤷🏻‍♂️

So I did. And it semi worked. By I also forgot about the time, and the hair being much thinner, and closer to the skin. So the stripes are more red from the skin being burned, than the dark/blonde layers I was aiming for. 😅

It’s a bit tender now. You can definitely see what the idea was. 10/10 would not recommend.

TL;DR Followed dumb video for funny arm hair. Burned my skin instead.
