obligatory "this happened a few years ago"

i own 5 cats, but at the time of this story i owned 4.

out of my four cats, two were old, and two were young.

the young cats LOVE belly rubs. they also only attack when playing, they dont try to hurt you ever.

one of the older cats also loves belly rubs. its adorable. she also never attacks, even when being given tablets.

the OTHER older cat HATES belly rubs. he will dig his front claws into your hand and kick you with the back. hes fine with other places, just not his belly.

well one day, he was on my mums bed, on his side, his big fat belly sticking out.

so what did i, in my infinite wisdom do?

i KISSED IT.

yeah he... he did not like that.

he clawed my eyelid. luckily i was speedy enough to close my eye. i tried covering my face with a blanket but i was too late.

there was a piece of ny eyelid skin dangling off. i had to go to A&E (british equivalent of the ER) and they injected local anaesthetic into my eyelid before cutting off the dangly skin and putting on butterfly stitches. i had to wear an eyepatch. this was the day before halloween. my costume did not suit an eyepatch.

so now i've got a scar on my eyelid.

TLDR: kissed my cats belly. he clawed my eyelid.
