So for some time my wife, mother-in-law and me have been trying to lose some weight and we aquired and used treadmill on facebook market.
The machine worked pretty well at first, then it would ocacionally hit us with static from the handle areas when we walked. No big problem, a good shock to motivate us I guess.
Eventully it started suddenly stopping and whatever. So we decided to get a new one. Being the lazy pos that I am, I waited until the new one got in to take the old one out.
On the day that the new one arrived I started pulling the old one out. Somehow I was not able to take it out the room's door. I had no idea how the moving company got it in (we had moved houses after treadmill was aquired). Father-in-la and me tried and tried, found no way to take it out without ruinning the door. So I had the bright idea to take it apart and bring ir out in pieces.
Took it apart enough l that it could come out the door. The only parts still together was the place where you stand to walk and the machines motor. Until now I had not thought of pitting on closed shoes, cause why? Its an easy job, take it out and come back in to put the new one together, right? Well no, while carrying it to the curve my ADHD kicked in (I forgot my meds that day) So I turned around to see what the hell flew to the tree next to us and I let go of the heavy motor and I reacted and started to move my foot, but not fast enough.
It hurt, I quickly thought it fractured, but I could move it.
TL;DR I wore flip-flops instead of adecuate shoes while moving a heavy tradmill motor and I dropped it on my foot while looking for a bird thar flew by.
