I currently work at a bakery, but my hours were suddenly cut and I have been feeling very stressed and frantically looking for anothet job.
A couple of days ago, I applied for the perfect job. the job requirements perfectly matched with my past experience and the commute was great. Yesterday, the hiring manager sent me a message through Indeed asking me to come in for an interview on today (Wednesday) morning.
I responded today, asking the manager if I could do an interview tomorrow afternoon (Thursday)
The manager thought that I meant Wednesday and scheduled me for today and I missed the interview.
I know it's my fault. I should have used dates to communicate more clearly, but I didn't. I can be such an idiot.
TL;DR: I screwed up my chance at getting the perfect job, by not communicating clearly enough
