On Monday of this week I had a first date with a girl. Things went well and we had a good time. Tuesday I started feeling slightly off and Wednesday I tested positive for COVID. I informed her that I tested positive but that I wasn't having any symptoms when we met up.
She seemed a bit bothered and told me she has a trip she is leaving for this coming Tuesday and that now she's going to test every day until her trip. I apologized as much as I could but I haven't heard back from her in a while. I'm assuming the worst in that she now has COVID and I ruined her trip.
I feel terrible but also like we met at a very busy brewery, either of us could have gotten it there easily. It sucks, I liked her and we had a really good time. Even if it wasn't my fuck up, it is now.
TL;DR I may or may not have given a girl COVID on the first date which may or may not have caused her to cancel her vacation and now she's not talking to me.
