TIFU by updating my phone and trying out a new feature before putting clothes on.

I left my phone to update while I was taking a shower. Afterward, I proceeded to have some post-shower phone scrolling. I was reading about my new phone features, and now you can set an emergency option where if you hit the side button 5 times, then your phone calls 911. I went into testing mode, and it gave 10 seconds to cancel before calling 911. I canceled. Cool. It works.

But there's also an option to have it reach out to your emergency contacts with your location, 10s of audio, and front and back pictures from your phone. I added two of my roommates and my neighbor-friend to my emergency contacts. The option wasn't toggled to contact them wasn't switched on for the test, so I hit the test button again.

Only this time, there wasn't any timer that went off to cancel. It sent out my location and an emergency message to them. Oh shit. I didn't have my blanket over top of me... Okay, but no pictures sent. Cool, close one! BUT NO!! Individual texts were sent out to them, but ALSO A GROUP TEXT WITH THE AUDIO AND PICTURES!!! Which was a picture of me touching myself and my eyes closed. Oh, and I'm in love with my neighbor-friend who hadn't responded to me in a few days. I was trying to give her space and instead sent an unsolicited nude.

The only good thing is that I didn't add my dad to my emergency contacts when i was contemplating doing so. Fuck my life.

TL;DR Tested a new feature on my phone and naked pictures got sent off, probably making me look crazy and desperate for attention.
