Egg vibrator tickling - is it any good?

Hi yall! While browsing some tickling art I was thinking about the recurring element of small vibrating eggs or bullets taped to ticklish spots. Most prominently feet and nipples (and genitals), for example in this picture by PawFeather.
I was wondering - are they a real thing for tickling or is it more of a fantasy thing? Are they effective for tickling? Do you have experiences, and if they're good, which ones do you recommend? I'm curious!
