Tickling "Fetish" Doesn't Always Mean Arousal

Post Body

Hey there fellow tickle lovers I wanted to get your thoughts on this. I have told several of my friends about my love of tickling (which they are very supportive of) but I notice a disconnect from how I feel about tickling and how they perceive I feel about it. It seems as soon as the word "fetish" is involved, the idea shifts to purely bedroom activities involved with tickling. Now I'm fully aware of the definition of fetish but I feel as though the feeling toward tickling is different than just pure arousal from the act of tickling. Yes, its true, it is and can be a major turn on, however this is not the reason I love it. For me the act of tickling is a fun and sort of light hearted way of bonding and having fun. I love making my friends laugh by comedy or physical touch. It speaks to a "feel good" part of me beyond simple arousal. I'd like to be able to explain to my friends in simple English that just because it can be a turn on, doesn't mean thats what I'm after. Does any one else feel this way?
