I know this is a superficial Q in the grand scheme of things but all my work involves interacting with clients and I am worried about this issue. Have papillary thyroid cancer with some lymph node involvement as confirmed by Ct/ biopsy/ ultrasound so I know I wonβt have a tidy little tt scar. Has anyone had an experience with a wider ranging surgery where they were happy with their scar outcome?
I had 15 or 16 lymph nodes removed along with my humongous thyroid and my scar is less than 2 inches long. My scar did go hypertrophic for a bit, but has now flattened nicely 4 years in and most peoples' flatten and fade much faster.
