First timer getting stuck

I read Acotar, and wanted to go back to the beginning and read ToG then Crescent City. I really love acotar and I know this series is different, but I’m currently stuck in Heir of Fire with 5 chapters left. Did anyone else fizzle out? I’m going to keep reading because I’m already obsessed with Manon, but I’ve seen some spoilers- maybe that’s keeping me from diving in?
