Spoilers if you've never seen SFU, but the ending is something of TV legend and is highly praised still decades after. The ending shows us the deaths of the Fishers in rapid succession, over a course of decades, a montage set to the epic Sia track Breathe Me.

In interviews, the writers have said they're going for an ambitious ending that's never been done. I think that ending is almost surely going to be the exact opposite of Six Feet Under, and is going to show us the Pearson family throughout the generations.

Not sure if we'll see further than Hope's generation, but we'll almost definitely see the New Big 3 growing up and living life. Especially if we're getting Rebecca's death in the penultimate episode.
