I have always loved thinkpads, had them in college for Cad development, then went into IT and used them for VMs / Coding and had multiple Carbons / Yogas. Fast forward to today, I left IT to start my own business. I travel a lot, I love something lightweight but quick and sleek. I use my laptop in the car, lap, plane and have a docking station already set up from prior thinkpads I have had so I know I wanted to stick with Lenovo. I am not 100% brand loyal but I definitely prefer the thinkpads. I have considered the Apple Air but I don’t link the OS. The work I will be mainly doing is, website building, light programming, multiple tabs open, occasionally streaming services although no games.
After ordering I started reading into more personal reviews and how hot the laptop gets with the 1280P vs the U I already have “TF8” in my amazon cart. Not to mention the battery drain, I do value battery life as well.
That being said my order was delayed and “supposed to ship within 30 Days” so I have some time to decide. Think I should hold off on the order, look at the T14s with U processor or now even the Nano seeing as I use my laptop often while traveling and on the go hell maybe even a different brand.
Any feedback is appreciated!
