Want to buy an X1, can't pull the trigger
Post Body

I've been looking at a new laptop for a while. I gave my XPS 13 to my mom. It was great, but the screen was too small. For this reason, I'm doubtful the X1 Yoga/Carbon will be sufficient as they are only slightly larger at 14" (compared to 13.3").

I've been thinking I need a 15.6" laptop, and have been looking at the XPS 15, LG Gram, and Samsung Notebook 9, but none of them grab me like the lenovos.

If the X1 Carbon came with the OLED display, it would already be purchased. So basically two questions:

  • Any opinions about 14" being big enough for someone who literally gave away the an XPS 13 because it was too small?

  • Yoga or Carbon? I want the OLED. I like the future proofing of a touchscreen convertible, but I don't like the increased weight, size, bezels, glossiness, and less good keyboard.
