Post Body

...how many carbon capture plants of this size would we need to build to reach a tipping point where they finally collectively remove more CO2/year than is released by cars in just the US/year?

Bonus points for:

  1. Estimation of how long it would take to build that number of plants.

  2. Estimation of the total cost of that number of plants.

  3. Estimation of how many tons of CO2 would be released into the atmosphere from associated emissions of mining, transporting, refining/creating materials, and the actual construction of that number of plants.

  4. Same as 3, but for methane emissions.

A tall order maybe, but it'd be much appreciated! Thanks in advance!
