The Primitive Technology YT channel is tantalizingly close to forging iron. He seems to be limited by the time it takes to manufacture the charcoal, dry the iron-containing bacteria, and tend the forge.

Suddenly, 100 "slaves" (volunteers comprising an equal mix of men and women, different ages) join his little kingdom. He gets 8 hours a day from each of them. Assume they are self sufficient, meaning he does not need to provide food or water.

How long until he and his labor force can produce a 1kg ingot of iron?
