Morgan is getting a lot of hate, and I understand it. To a point. His pacifistic attitude is truly annoying and very frustrating. People are missing part of why it bothers us so much: This is a new Morgan, who has not shared the experiences of the others and has to go through his own story arc to reach where the rest of the characters are.
Both his introduction and his killing of the wolf at the end of the episode show this. The Morgan who shows up is nothing like the old Morgan, and there isn't any explanation for how he has changed. He shows up, and starts his arc right there by walking in on Rick killing Pete. At the end of the show, after experiencing the massacre in Alexandria, he kills his first living person since reappearing and his arc begins to escalate.
We have to have a little patience. Assuming he survives long enough, if the show progresses his character at the speed it's going as of right now, he'll be completely caught up with the rest of the characters by the end of the season.
So chill, and watch him grow.
Edit: Fixed some grammar and word usage issues for clarity.
