I wish I could say I was surprised, but again I find myself “banging my hands on the dash” at just how incredibly out of touch Craig and Jubjub seem on certain social issues. Man they seemed to not even be able to entertain the idea that the “no no it’s for experience and exposure” argument is undoubtedly one-sided, and frankly bs. As someone who is involved in a profession where internships/externships aren’t just suggested, they’re practically required, I know firsthand that this argument (9 times outta 10), is a thinly veiled cover for “hey actually you’ll get relatively zero directed guidance, and mostly you’ll be doing minuscule tasks that really don’t relate to the larger picture for free.” Maybe I’m jaded.
