In the scene where Ritchie gets pissed Davey is at the game a lot of people say Ritchie is in the right but I disagree. Ritchie had a POSITION but he was not in the right. You do not disrupt a game like that while the BOSS of the family is present. Extremely unbecoming and bad for business, if need it be handle it outside/after. Tony sets him aside and basically tells him to fuck off bc he’s messing with his money and people say that’s hypocritical but he’s actually right, he even explains to him that he should handle it outside of the game because the stakes are way too high at that moment. If I recall correctly some guys even leave after that immediately proving his point. Pummeling a guy in the middle of a game and risking that kind of income for your own gain while the boss, underboss, and capo of his crew are present running the biggest illegal card game in the state is some of the stupidest shit ever. Have some self control. Defending Ritchie is stupid because time and time again a theme in the show is that guys do things and that are idiotic for selfish reasons, even though the number one is don’t do anything that’s bad for business. What Ritchie does is a classic example of this.
