4th rewatch, approaching the grand finale, finishing S6E19 The Second Coming, Tony has just smashed Coco's teeth out on the toilet after finding out what he did to Meadow. He then attends AJ's therapy appointment with Carm, and during it, he finds one of Coco's teeth in his pants cuff leg. He casually crosses his leg and discreetly removes the tooth and pockets it.
I never noticed that before. But I'm here now, knowing the character arcs, the whole storyline better, and am able to relax a bit more and focus on these details. And in the midst of this horrible storm of events; the NY NJ war, AJ's crippling mental illness and suicide attempt, Chris and everyone else"s murderous deaths, the Bobby Bac killing a man for the first time, the impending doom on Tony and the aftermath of his horrendous actions, I just found this so off catchingly hilarious. It's such a deep look into the less climactic, day to day life of someone with the anger problems like Tony has. He tries to live a normal life but will crush heads if slightly wronged. But he'll still get dressed up nice and try to help his son get rid of the blues. Dunno, just thesr two perspectives of his character immediately after the other got me good. Unbelievable writing.
I know it's probably not the most funny of the whole series, but it was such a bold move to have that little note of comedy embedded in an otherwise complete tragedy, quickly approaching it's moment of impact.
