If they made a Room 2

I thought about what if they made a Room 2? Maybe Johnny isn't dead but he's wheelchair bound and paralyzed after he shot himself. Lisa has to take care of Johnny but she's still having an affair with Mark. Lisa's mother definitely had breast cancer and passed away. Ok this is sounding depressing instead of unintentionally funny. Maybe it could play into the dark comedy element of the original Room.
