The pressure of water running through an open system cannot be increased only by heating. True/False?
Post Body

Greetings.

If only heat is supplied to the fluid, the temperature will increase and not the pressure. In a closed system, water gains the energy but is confined in a fixed volume. This causes the fluid to exert force on the walls of the vessel and pressure is increased.

In an open system, there is no confinement and fluid will flow away and not get pressurized.

Hence the statement is true according to me. Am I missing something? I have to explain this to someone hence checking.
