Being pregnant ≠ getting someone pregnant. They aren’t even married.
I was replying to a comment that EEOC would apply here. The guy is not pregnant nor married to the woman he got pregnant. There is no protected class for “baby daddy”. That is how this is both relevant and matters.
The boss is spazzy as fuck but there is likely much more to this story that is going unseen. Sometimes people are just poor performers and are already on the chopping block when some major event happens. Ultimately them getting fired is just coincidence, but they usually try to paint the employer in a bad light.
Depends on the location. Filing a lawsuit like this would be a complete waste of time in any “at will” employment state.
