I mean you can do that. You can pay people to tutor you, or pay for their time for something like, editing or consulting for a book or a film or something.
But I just think...for the cost of a therapist...you hire for example a historian. Or you could hire a chemist. You go to their office and they could talk to you about their subject for an hour.
And the thing is...while expensive, and not directly dealing with anything psychological...I think I would have felt better doing that lol. Like gosh my life sucks, but I'm learning something new every week, and I'm getting out of the house and not focusing on anxiety for a little bit.
