Therapist may be dismissive of OCD
Post Body

So I’m pretty sure I have OCD, and I’ve tried to talk about it twice. Once flat out saying it, and another time talking about the issues without saying “I think I have OCD”.

my therapist was dismissive the first time, and then another time he just said that it was normal to be like this, and he said that I’m probably not OCD because I wasn’t the most extreme, like I don’t CONSTANTLY wash my hands every 15 minutes , and I’m not afraid to touch my girlfriend and stuff like that.

Maybe I’m wrong to think that I have OCD, but I do truly believe that I do. I have almost if not all symptoms.

My therapist is great anyways, he helps me with a lot; but more so my depression and mostly my self esteem which is good.
