Hi! I’ve had my first three sessions of therapy. I know that’s not much but I’m worried about not clicking with my therapist.
My 3 sessions have been like this. Session 1 was history and what is bothering me. 2 was further history. 3. was testing and ADHD tests. So we haven’t really gotten to tackling issues yet.
But I feel like I’m fighting for her attention? She listens well and takes notes but doesn’t react much. Also she is very busy and she starts our online session a few minutes late and ended our 2 one 10 min early. Out last one which was in person she gave me a form to fill out and sent me to the waiting room 15 min before the session ended. Which I guess is fine bc she doesn’t need to watch me do a form.
Also sometimes when I ask her something like clarification of a question she like pauses with this super blank faceand I feel like she might think I’stupid
I know that the world doesn’t revolve around me but honestly after three session i still don’t even know what her treatment style will be like?
Maybe this all sound silly But I’ve just never been the therapy before so I was wondering it this is all good.
sorry for formatting and spelling issues I’m on mobile and my phone is lagging so hard
