Will repressed memories always come back through therapy or are they sometimes completely forgotten?
Post Body

I have recently started therapy and before starting noticed that on occasions where I went through something that I perceived as painful at the time, I have very little or no memory of the event/time period. Do these memories always come back or is it possible that the brain repressed them at first but has legitimately lost the memory now?
