hi! so I’m in an lmhc program and currently doing my practicum (in home family counseling). the youth that I’vebeen working with is struggling alot, and his mom wants me to help find him a male therapist. my professor is an amazing therapist who works mainly with the age group that my client is in. would it be innappropriate to ask my professor if he's taking on new clients and if he would be willing to see my client? he's's also my practicum advisor, which I don't know if that makes a difference.
