It's time to start preparing to take the licensure exam to become and LCPC in the state of Illinois. I was wondering what exam materials anyone used in order to pass the NCMHCE? When I first took the NCE I did not study and then I didn't pass, so the next time I took it I got a book and had some resources from a friend and I passed with flying colors. I have heard that this exam is quite different in the way it is scored and some people do not pass on the first attempt. I'd ideally like to pass on my first try lol. Any recommendations for study materials for this exam? For those who have taken it in the past year or so, how did you find the exam? Was it tricky or did it make sense when you were answering the case studies (assuming it is still case studies)? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
