Post Body

I’m finishing up my first year of grad school in mental health counseling. I’ve got major imposter syndrome. When I do my therapy role play sessions, I improve in one area but not another. For example, in one session, I’m very attuned to the client and can reflect and summarize well. However, in another session, I’m pretty good about using techniques from 1-2 therapeutic modalities.

How did you all manage to integrate all of the skills in your sessions? What made it click for you?
