Post Body

Hello, I'm gaining my LPC (this month *fingers crossed*) and am wanting out of CMH. I'm considering starting private practice but am very intimidated. I have experience/competency with children, adolescents, and families that I think could be useful for advertising services. My inclination is to keep my job while building up my credentials, caseload, and experience with billing, advertising, and any other pp skills. I'm picturing doing this using one of those sites that offers to provide clients and credentialing (Alma, Thrive etc.). I don't see a lot of posts with folks doing that and I'm worried there are drawbacks that I'm missing. I would really appreciate some direction and insight from y'all. I'm in Georgia.
