Hi all. I graduated from my MFT program in Dec and the earliest available time to take my licensing exam is March 18th. So I'm kinda sitting on my buns right now and was thinking about trying to squeeze a helpful certification or training in... However, the ones I was eyeballing need me to have an active caseload to practice/consult on and obvs, I do not have one right now. Did any of you take trainings in this "No man's land" time that ended up being really beneficial to your work?
I'm already Gottman lvl 1 and 2 and EFT advanced TRAINED (externship core skills). I've taken a handful of ACT courses. Iunno. I think I'm just having trouble finding something I just love to work with and am hoping if I do more trainings and get deeper exposure to more models/theories, something will click. I will be working mostly with couples and individual adults.
