Now, what I say next might be wrong, because I'm really just a casual reader and doesn't memorize too much details, so don't tear me apart if I get something wrong lol.
So, I've been thinking about Emma's and Norman's plan about defeating the demons, and I think that only Emma's plan will work out. Not really because it's nice, but because of what will happen in the long term.
Let's go through Norman's plan first. So, his plan is to kill all demons. All of them. First of all, that's probably not going to happen, if we take his words to the most literal sense. We don't exactly know how big is the world (or I forgot how big) or the rough estimate number of demons that exist. However, if we are to assume that the planet they are on is as large as ours, half a planet being the demon world is still pretty big. So we can assume that there's probably a fuck ton of demons living, whether they are humanoid or not.
And considering that only small amount of actual demon-killing humans exist, and they don't really have heavy artillery, it's gonna be super tough to wipe them all. There will at least be a few demons that escape the massacre once it's started. And if they are anything like humans, even without eating them, they will bear a strong hatred towards humans. It'll just be the tides turning. Demons went into hiding, they plan how to take down the humans, more killings, more hatred, and the cycle continues. Of course, I'm not saying that it is 100% impossible to wipe all the demons out, but it's really unlikely.
And I think one way Norman might do in order to achieve that revenge is to use the farms and possibly make a clone army or something to take down the rest of the demons. I don't think it's unlikely that Norman might think to do that once he figure out it's gonna take a lot of effort with so little people to complete the genocide. All of this is assuming that he wants to eliminate any and all demons.
If he wants to only kill a majority of the demons, then what definitely will happen is the demon seeking revenge and the cycle continues. The plan will work out short term, yes, but long term? I don't think so.
As for Emma's plan, it's probably gonna be really tough short term, but in long term, I'm fairly certain things will work well. The main thing is Musica. Going with Emma's plan, they would need to reestablish a government after they murdered the noble families, and Musica can be the new leader. Probably. Not sure about that part yet.
Now, right after they done the deed, there will be chaos. If they manage to reforge the promise, then it'll probably reduce that by a lot. There will still be complaints, but I think it'll mostly be fine since no one would want to go against the supreme being. Conflict will pop up once in a while, but nothing Emma can't handle if she made it to this point.
And like Emma said, there will be no need of any bloodshed anymore. Not like the demons couldn't eat other types of meat after having Musica's DNA like pig or cows. There might be a small group of demon resistance, but the superhumans can take them down.
I'm sure most people have more or less the same idea as mine, but I just wanna write it all out. What do you think?
Also, one kind of twsited scenario that could play out is that the demons are instead being treated like animals or slaves, or being banished to a really far place.
And another thing, I don't think crossing into the human world would yield good outcomes. There's too many unknowns, and the one thing that's more terrifying than demons are humans themselves. Who knows what the government on the other side will do, especially with the Ratri clan gonna be destroyed.
if i get too many things wrong Imma delete this cuz embarresment.
