My dear friends, it has come to the attention of the citizens of Göbekli Tepe (my fair and illustrious city) that there are those among us who have forgotten the artistic and linguistic sophistication of the era shows that we have a culture rich in communication and modern thinking, not to mention excellent pottery.
While I'm sure we all have "country cousins" who are still puzzling over when to hunt and when to gather, using "cave-person talk" to describe their interactions creates an unnecessary barrier to understanding when instead we should be seeking to bridge the urban/rural divide in these tumultuous times. And, dare I say it, it seems a bit racist?
After all, we wouldn't want to ostracize them so much that they capture a wild animal (I dunno, a horse or something) and learn to maraud across the steppes to our city gates, now would we?
