Jim made me cry today... but for real.. IF is an amazing movie and was nothing like I expected. I was so surprised and moved by a "kids" movie

So we took our kids to see "IF" today expecting it to be a silly kids movie about goofy imaginary friends... and really I hadn't paid attention and didn't realize John wrote, directed, and acted in the movie until the opening credits... but holy cow, my wife and I took more out of this movie than the kids did... all the emotions... from laughing just as hard as an R comedy to my wife crying hard and me tearing up multiple times. 5/5 movie .. my only regret is that it wasn't longer because some sections you could tell were rushed because kids movies aren't supposed to be long movies.
