So I've noticed that a lot of people are having problems with Basement Renavator not working on Mac (Yes it has a mac compatible version but it doesn't work correctly on some OS it seems) So after a short while I figured out what the problem is and was hoping that someone who reads this will have the knowhow to solve it. So the problem appears to be that a specific file cannot be located: (FileNotFoundError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: 'resources/Entities.xml') and this is because BasementRenavator.py is trying to use local file directories (i.e. 'resources/Entities.xml' vs /'Users/[computer name]/Downloads/Basement-Renovator-master/resources/Entities.xml') Obviously the file won't always be in your downloads folder so local directories are quite important. This is the part where I lose track of the problem because I don't know why the local directories don't function correctly or how to fix them. Do any of you guys know what might be done to fix this?
