First stalker game TWM spawn, possible to summit to get geared up?

Post Body

I spawned in TWM for my first stalker game, is it possible to summit with minimal clothing, or should I go to PV/ML to get better gear first? I’ve made it to the plane many times in Voyager games, so I know the quickest way to the summit (by the deer clearing short cut).

I currently have no coffee/stims. I do have a bedroll, jeans, tennis shoes, a vest, a black hat, 1 (blue) underwear, driving gloves, and a hack saw.

I was hoping to summit, gear up, then continue going to other maps.

A thought I just had, go down to the PV plane crash which is close to the TWM transition, as there are a lot of clothes there.

Suggestions?

Update: I got up to the first rope (rope -> cave -> last long rope before summit), and couldn’t make it up the fist rope. So I’m sleeping at the base of it with a fire outside. And going to try again when I wake up. Then plan on getting to the cave before the last rope.

Is it possible to do the last rope with just full sleep (in the cave) walk to the rope, climb the long one? I’ll stop on the ledge on the way up. Will it help the lighten the load as much as possible? Even below my carrying weight?

Update 2: I made it, I scored 1 urban coat, 1 baklava, good boots, good long Johns, 1 rifle. No revolver. Good hats, 1 climber socks, 1 wool, tons of food, including like 8 MREs, a hammer, plenty of tools, etc. yea! Thanks for your help.
